Embrace who they are at this moment!
Remember what it was like to transition from elementary school to high school. The long limbs, teeth that are to big, and all of the hormones that go along with it. We often refer to those years as the difficult times. "The kids can be so mean to each other then". We believe that it is time to change the view on the junior high years.
In this time of difficulty and social pressure we think that the time to shower your tween/teen with love is NOW! Let them know that they are perfect just the way they are. It is time to celebrate their uniqueness, their quirky traits, the growth spurts that seem to constantly be arriving. The sweet moments between a child and an almost adult.
These years are only a few, but can have a life changing impact on ones soul. Let's stop to celebrate and show them that THEY ARE WORTHY! <3
We have a powerful potential in our youth, and we must have the courage to change old ideas and practices, so that we may direct thier power toward good ends.
